How to Make Bread?

MAKING BREAD

Materials and Ingredients:
2 cups of warm water
2/3 cup of sugar
1 ½ tablespoons of active dry yeast
1 ½ teaspoons of salt
¼ cup vegetable oil
6 cups of bread flour
2 loaf pans
Oven

Procedure:
1. Pour the 2 cups of warm water in a large bowl.
Mix in the 2/3 cup of sugar until it dissolves.
2. Stir in the 1 ½ tablespoons of yeast. Let it sit for 2 minutes.
3. Mix in the 1 ½ teaspoons of salt and the ¼ cup of oil.
4. Mix in 6 cups of flour, one at a time.
5. Knead dough on a lightly floured surface until smooth.
6. Coat the dough in a thin layer of oil and cover with a damp cloth.
7. Allow the dough to rise for 1 hour.
8. Punch the dough down, divide it in half, and place each half in an oiled loaf pan.
9. Allow the loaves to rise for 30 minutes.
10. Bake at 350 deg F for 30 minutes.
11. Enjoy your bread!

How to Make Lemon Cheese?

How to Make Lemon Cheese!

Materials and Ingredients:
Hot plate
Large pot
Small pot
4 cups of milk
½ cup of lemon juice
Piece of cloth

Procedure:
1. Fill the large pot 1/3 full of tap water. Place it on the hot plate.
2. Turn on the hot plate.
3. Pour 4 cups of milk into the small pot.
4. Carefully place the small pot in the large pot. The small pot should be floating in the water.
5. Make sure it does not tip over!
6. Heat the milk for 20 minutes.
7. Remove the small pan from the heat.
8. Add the lemon juice to the milk. Don’t stir! Let it sit for 15 minutes.
9. Line a small clean pan with the cloth. Pour the milk mixture onto the cloth.
10. Tie the corners of the cloth to form a bag, and hang it to drain for 2 hours.
11. Scrape the cheese from the cloth.Enjoy your cheese!
It’s best eaten with some bread or crackers.






How to Make Your Own Ice Cream?

How to make your own ICE CREAM

Materials and Ingredients:
1 tablespoon of sugar
½ cup of milk
Pinch of vanilla
6 tablespoons of salt
Small ziplock bag
Large ziplock bag
Lots of ice cubes

Procedure:

1. Fill the large bag half full of ice cubes.
2. Add 6 spoonfuls of salt to the large bag. Seal the large bag.
3. To the small bag, add ½ cup of milk, a pinch of vanilla, and 1 spoonful of sugar.
Seal the small bag.
4. Put the small bag inside of the large bag. Seal the large bag.
5. Shake the bag for 5-10 minutes! Shake shake shake shake shake!
6. Remove the small bag from the large bag.
7. Wipe off the top of the small bag and open it carefully.
8. Enjoy your ice cream!




What is DNA?

Extracting DNA from your Saliva!

Materials and Ingredients:
2 Cups
Spoon
Clean water
Pinch of salt
1 spoonful of soap
3 spoonfuls of water
Pinch of meat tenderizer enzyme
Cold alcohol

Method:
1. Write “1” on one cup, and “2” on the other cup.
2. Mix tap water and detergent in cup #1.
3. Fill cup #2 halfway with clean water.
4. Add a pinch of salt to cup #2 and mix.
5. Swirl the salt water from cup #2 in your mouth GENTLY for one minute.
6. Spit the salt water into cup #1.
7. Stir the mixture SLOWLY and GENTLY for 5 minutes. No bubbles!
8. Add the meat tenderizer enzyme to the mixture and stir GENTLY.
9. Let the mixture sit with NO MIXING for 5 minutes.
10. SLOWLY and CAREFULLY pour some cold alcohol down the inside of the cup, allowing it to settle on top of the mixture.
11. Let the cup sit for 10 minutes.
12. You should see a white, stringy substance suspended at the boundary between the alcohol and detergent mixture. That’s your DNA!
